It’s monday morning of an ordinary week of your life, you wake up to work and the first thought it comes to your mind is “Can’t believe the week is just starting”. It’s Friday 6 pm, you are going home from work celebrating that the week has ended.
Sounds familiar? If yes, then you are fucked up…Why is that?
WARNING: If you work from 9 am-5 pm without a purpose and it’s “Ok” for you…Please don’t waste your time reading this and continue with your “Ok” life
Now I can assume that you and me have something in common. At least you are trying to figure out why is all fucked up, seeking for a way to reset everything.
It’s probably because you are not in the pursuit of your passions, your dreams, your purpose in life.
Maybe you have a job you hate, you live a life that doesn’t feel right, you are surrounded by fake people that are constantly pushing you to mediocrity, to be “normal“…You need a change, you need to reset everthing.
Fear to fail, to be ridiculed or to be exposed? Maybe just conformism because it’s “fine”…Excuses that are the cancer of our society.
“If you want to achieve greatness, stop asking for permission.”
Money, fame or power are your fundamental motivations?…Please stop reading.
Entrepreneurship as a life-long learning ride
“When you start to see the days as stepping-stones towards achieving your dreams, you stop whining because it’s Monday and you stop celebrating because it’s Friday.” – @
In a personal level, entrepreneurship is much more than working a “business idea”. Is about starting a journey and follow a passion, from a writer to a quantum scientist, anything that can add value to your life and to other people life’s. To reset all your knowladge and be willing to start over again.
As KauffMan Founders school defined, entrepreneurs are driven by three main motivations:
- Fixing a problem
This means that every day you will have the chance to learn something new and the possibility to apply it to achieve your dreams. Experiences, from failure to success, that over the years will make your work even better and more influential to people.
Be aware that this is not an easy road, maybe the most difficult you could take in this life and that’s why not everyone is born to do this. It’s a rollercoaster of events, feelings and situations that will put you at the edge in every moment, but always toward achieving your goals.
Entrepreneurs must be P.U.R.E.
Passion: Be passionate about what you do, about your work and your life.
“Your work is going to fill a large part of yourlife, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking, and don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart,
you’ll know when you find it.”– Steve Jobs
Urgency: Life it short. If there was ever amoment to follow your passion and do something that matters to you, that moment is now.
I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Being willing is not enough, we must do.
– Leonardo Da Vinci
Resistance: Life is gonna kick you in the balls over and over again, just keep getting up and moving forward.
Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!– Rocky Balboa (2006)
Empathy is:Seeing with the eyes of another.Listening with the ears of another.
Feeling with the heart of another.
“Be the change you want to see in the world” – Mahatma Gandhi
